The Effects of Computer Work on Human Body among Military computer Personnel


Abstract
A questionnaire was administered to military computer personnel for evaluating working habit, and field survey was conducted for evaluating working environment.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN 1. The respondents' mean computer working time per one day was 4 hours, and their mean continuous working time was 1 hour 28 minutes.
2. The location of computer monitor was inappropriate in 50% of respondents, and the height of computer monitor was inappropriate in 45%ofrespondents.
3. The location of keyboard was inappropriate in 63% of respondents.
4. The supporting tools for eyes were used in many respondents, but tools for wrist and back were little used.
5. There were many complaints about working environment and furniture.
Therefore military computer personnel must be educated about health care and managers must be concerned about improvement of computer working environemtn.
